After more than four years installing RAC, Julian realised that a lot of the work was repetitive and he was hitting the same old problems: installing missing OS packages, downloading the right drivers, searching for patches, and so on.
...there had to be a better way! Therefore Simon and Julian have come up wih a new streamlined installation process. Couple this with our 'tried and tested' hardware configurations and you get an unbeatable combination of implementation speed and value, along with reducing the risk of errors with what, afterall, is quite a complicated stack of software.
To do this we have devised a standard process to ensure that we have all necessary information, hardware and software up-front and to save wasting time during the installation procedure:
